agreed im sick of my xbox they have an alphebet of problrms
well, don’t break them but i agree on the part where the older generation of the xbox 360 have more problems compared to the newer ones. When the console get overheated, that’s where all the problems start. You fix the overheating issue, you fix a lot of problems!
i bought my elite in 07 i thought they werent supposed to have problems

i got the E74 error 1 red light bottom right and i barley even play my 360. i was gonna wait for this local places number to come up on tv again to fix the 360 but idk if it stopped airing.

just clean the AV cable that the 1 that plugs into the TV it’ll solve the problem or atleast it did for me make sure you clean the metal part at both ends throughly and see what happens make sure its with a dry cloth or paper towl or somthing like that good luck!!

I have two parts of the ring.
What does that mean?

so I have 3 red lights flashing. I have disconnected the power and AV cables.. plugged the power into different outlets. leave it off for hours.. turn it on without the hard drive on.. whiped my AV cables.. and it is still on? But there is no way I can take it apart and put it back together again.. but I can’t wait a month for it to go to xbox and hope the problem is solved… any other solutions? Buy a new one?
The solution is right there, mate. You need to take it apart, and fix the Overheating issue that’s causing the problem. The interface between the heatsink and GPU are not tight enough to dissipate heat, and you need to fix it using the X-clamp method. There’s just too much heat generated inside the console that might cause the solder inside to crack over time. Why waste money buying a new Xbox when there’s a simpler solution? Simply get the Repair Guide and fix it yourself immediately, mate!
hay i got an xbox elite and Microsoft has been avoiding me like the plague because they don’t want to even look at it. my step dad thinks its my video card and i have no clue i just want it fixed. please tell me where to get a cheap card for my elite or how to get Microsoft off there ass to help

My friend has a broken 360 with the 3 red light of death. He let me have it to see if I could fix it, and I have been unseccessful so far.
