This is my guide to disassembling a Xbox 360 console controller. I used a TORX T8 screwdriver to take the controller apart. I know there are other methods of doing this including using a tiny phillips head to break the center column of the screw itself. I do believe that you can order a TORX screwdriver from www.llamma.com, they also have tons of great guides on how to disassemble and modify Xbox, PSP, PS3 and Wii consoles. Okay, so the other day i was messing around, and just happened to find out this actually worked for me. This is an old xbox that had been laying around. It was one of the first produced 1st gen xbox 360s, so your results may vary. If you try and it does not work, maybe try to unplug and try again. This xbox red ringed on me a few days later, so its only a temp fix, just long enough to find someone who can put a RROD permanent fix on it. Just google it, and you have to buy a kit. I, just didn’t because im about to get a ps3 anyway. Good luck! -PJ
