I have a video game that was in my xbox 360 but something dropped on my xbox while I was not paying attention. No damage was done to the xbox but some wierd scratch has appeared on my disc. It’s a circle looking scratch to the outside of the disc and I just can’t seem to get it off. Do you guys have any techniques to get out the scratches. I’ve already tried disc cleaner and other stuff. Otherwise, how would I get a refund from the store I got it from? Thanks for the help.

ok so something is for sure wrong with my xbox, i just got the brand new Beatles rock band and it wont play. Also none of my other games work anymore that worked a few days ago. My friend brought his xbox over yesterday, and we played my discs on his console, that didnt work on mine. i even put my harddrive on is xbox and it worked fine. Also i bought CD that cleans the laser that reads discs, and after that, still no luck. I just put in Fable2 and i got the usual; TO PLAY THIS DISC PUY IT IN A XBOX 360 CONSOLE. So cleaned it just to see what would happen, with a scratch wizard CD repair, and i put it back in. Now instead of seeing the Play DVD under the my xbox section, i actually get the picture of Fable2 and the option to Play GAME. But then i push play and it says the disc is dirty. Its not my discs its something in the xbox. Is there some easier solution to this or do i have to send it to Microsoft. (by the way i’ve had my xbox for over a year, i can still send it in right?)

I recently bought Red Dead Redemption off eBay, and it works for a few days, until I accidentally knocked over my Xbox. I checked the disc, and there’s a giant scratch, about 1/3 of an inch thick, all the way around, in the middle of the disc, and I’d also like to get a few other discs fixed. Is there anyone or a company around Houston or Katy that can fix this? Or am i screwed and have to waste another .

Last night my little brother and big sister were playing around like idiots and they knocked my xbox over while I was playing my brand new game…the game froze and there was a big circular scratch around the disk…my mother is going to take me to get the disk repaired by blockbuster or something tomorrow but I want to know if there is any way I can make it work untill then. And will the disc repair thing really even work?

my friends xbox 360 had the same problem and fixed it with this trick i thought of if your 360 is new dont do it cause microsoft will replace it for you

A while ago i found out that my cousin hit my Xbox 360 when my "Borderlands" was in the disk holder. When I turned it on, it gave my game the perfect circle scratch and when i try to play the game, it says the disk is unreadable. Will getting the game repaired/cleaned make it work or is that just for small scratches? Please let me know from past experiences…..Thanks

I turned my xbox 360 vertical from a horizontal position while it was on and the disk was spinning. Immediately I heard the game scratch. I sat it back down and the game stopped working. When I took out the game it had scratches around the entire edge of the game. When I put the game back in the xbox, it spun and spun but would not read. What should I do?

Are Play N Trade disc repair machines capable of fixing xbox 360 games, with the perfect circle scratch ?

My cat bumped my xbox 360 while playing Madden and it left the game too scratched to play. I used Scratch Out disc cleaner but it didn’t work. Does anyone know of a disk cleaner than can remove a deep, circular scratch? If not, my cat owes me !! PLEASE HELP!!

there’s a line around it from the xbox, "circle" scratch, but its only have a circle.
its for modern warfare 2, it doesn’t work.
What should I do? video mart has a place that repair discs for like 4 dollars, but i also tried removing the scratch with an eraser and it made a mark, do you think theyl still attempt to repair it?
or should i rent the same game and swop cds
