hi this is the 3rd xbox 360 case fix ive done, iv’e added a flushed top fan over one of the heatsinks plus a new fan on the side, also re-made the vent on the front ( to duct away the heat via a fan inside over the other heatsink) now been running now over 8 months no red lights at all! (started out getting 2 red light and loud fans then 3 red lights)

I would rather have the elite instead of the New Xbox 360 but I need to know if the Elite has less of a chance of getting that red ring of death thing. That red rin of death thing almosts makes me consider just saving more money and purchasing a PS3 because I dont hear alot of people say that there are system failures for those but the Xbox 360 elite is alot cheaper and it looks cool. So does it get it as much as the regular Xbox 360?

BQ2:Is it worth just saving up more money and getting the newer Xbox 360 with the Kinect thing?
