I currently have a PS3, but am looking to sell it for the new Xbox 360 slim. I was wondering if I am making a mistake or not. I want to know which would be a better buy the new Xbox 360 or PS3 slim? I honestly prefer Xbox 360, but I don’t know can anybody help me decide?

how many peope out there have made the mistake of buying an xbox disc drive off ebay for eg when their old one wears out , thinking the process was as simple as changing a disc drive in a pc or a laptop . Well i did lol yes i chucked the old drive away not realising it contained the dvd key needed to match the motherboard , this basically renders the xbox 360 useless as many have found . You are supposed to flash the drive and extract the key then dump in the new drive , fail to do this and the only thing the drive will play is dvd or cd but not games . There is no process where you can extract the dvd key from the motherboard and lets be honest even if you could its going to be one of those things where you glaze over at the first instruction right , The xbox360 has an appalling reliability record and the discdrive is no exception . SO WHY HAS MICROSOFT MADE IT SO HARD TO DO WHAT SHOULD BE A SIMPLE REPAIR AND A COMMON ONE ?

I want to buy a XBOX 360 this weekend. I am a casual player and I will probably only play Sports games like Madden and ect… I need help of what 360 to buy. I see there are different packages. I am leaning towards buying the 9 Arcade package but I don’t want to make a mistake. Do I need to buy a bigger 360 package if I want to save my Madden games?
