My mom won’t let me get an xBox Live membership…! but does anybody know where I can the Guitar Hero 3 and Rock Band songs that you have to get on xBox Live…?

Im getting an xbox 360 elite today n i need some suggestions on what game i should buy for it. I’m not that big of a Halo fan and i want madden 09 but that comes out tuesday. I’m leaning towards Dragonball Z :Burst Limit, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare or Rainbow Six Vegas 2.
And im gonna wait till the next NBA Live, Rock Band or Guitar Hero to come out to buy it.

How can my husband & I play Guitar Hero lll together on the same xbox on xbox live with other players on xbox live??? Is it possible? We can play solo on live with other players but I can’t seem to figure out how we can play together on live, someone please help. Thanks in advanced.

I got my Xbox 360 in September 2007 and ever since around March or April 2008 its been taking a while to recognize discs are in the tray. I have to open and close it sometimes up to 20 times before it will realize a disc is in it… And when i get brand new games it will sometimes stop me during the game and say "This disc is unreadable please clean it with a soft cloth and restart the console" then it sends me back to the Dashboard. I recently bought Guitar Hero World Tour and something was wrong with the game so i returned it and got a new one and this one wont even start at all. I have to open and close the disc tray sometimes up to 30 times and when I select a city to start the career in the game it will say the disc is unreadable and wont start again. I put in all my info on xbox .com to request a repair and they already priced the repair before i told them what was wrong which was .00. And from what I have seen and heard and read on the internet this problem is common enough to get a recall so everyone who has this problem can get a free repair or new xbox 360 or whatever. But how do i fix this because my xbox says brand new completely clean games are dirty and cannot be read. Please Help!

Does anyone know where I can buy an Xbox 360 Guitar Hero 3 controller from on its own (without GH3 game) in Australia, preferably in Victoria? I’d prefer to get a wired one for PC use, which I believe is the X-plorer variant.

Ok im in a huge crisis here. I borrowed my friend’s xbox 360 to play his guitar hero. I stupidly had the 360 stand vertically upward (sort of like a computer) and i accidently knocked it down which then started making weird noises. I then found the scratches. When i tried to play the game, it gets past a couple credits but then stops before the actual game comes up and has the little "cant read" message thing.

The fact that it gets past a couple credits means i still have a chance and the scratches are more minor than i feared. Now please!! any suggestions to what I can do that doesnt require buying another guitar hero or a disc doctor? I’ve only tried rinsing with water so far. and before u give me solution, please give me reassurance that you know someone or you yourself have succeeded with that method. THANKS

For Christmas my parents bought me guitar hero: world tour, I accidentally kicked the console and the disc doesn’t work. It is quite badly damaged. I have tried wiping in a circular motion but it still doesn’t work.
