If there is no disc in, it won’t open before I push the disc tray like this. OR press the open button for like 50 times. Might not work on first try so try it untill it opens.. No need for a butter knife Recorded with old phone Nokia N73, sorry for bad quality and shaky hand added annotations :———D

200 Thumbs up and I will test “How Bullet Proof it is ” Me and my friend mod xbox controllers and recently bought this of a random person sold as faulty we both like a challenge and thought we could try fixing it but maby this was a bit to far gone? any ideas would be great ! We also sell our mods Rapid Fire Xbox controller lights change Red tiger and other paint jobs AND MW2 GAMERTAG MODS we do all of these through ebay so there nice and safe for you our customers Thanks

if you do this, remember to very very slowly tilt the 360. DO NOT tilt it in any other direction while the disc is spinning except up. if you do you will scratch your disc. badly. use at your own risk. this is how i fix any disc read problem with my 360. i’m guessing since the drive is so old the motors are unable to move without the little help of gravity with the faceplate facing up. or it could do something with the magnet that holds the disc in place, i’m not sure yet.
