I finally crack the code of fixing the Xbox360 Red Ring of Death under 30 minutes for less than 30$ and it fix Red Ring of Death forever! One point to take note is that, do not try to use the towel method, its dangerous and it may also kill you Xbox360 machine for good.

If I were to tell you how to fix it here, its going to be very long winded. I suggest you go get your own Xbox360 Red Ring of Death Fix Guide where is ebooks and videos for you to follow, all I can do now is to let you know the reference site where I got my best Xbox360 Red Ring of Death Repair Guide.

i think if we all want to know the answer to that, unfortunatley there isnt one. ive never got the red ring of death on my elite (knock on wood) and it might be because i simply only play a couple of hrs a day and if i do play more i give it a half n hour break (completly shut it off and let it cool down).

First off the new xbox 360 have been upgraded to include some kind of new chip to prevent overheating thus eliminating the red rings, however since you probably don’t have one of these models there are a few things you can do.

1: You could buy a new 360 and not have to worry about it again.

2: Keep sending it into Microsoft and hope one time they fix it right

or 3: If your tech savy you could fix it yourself with one of these kits from Ebay. you would have to take your Xbox apart (note your warranty will NOT be valid if you do this)

That’s about all you could do. Good Luck!

i sent mine to xbox, only took 2 weeks from the time i shipped it off, they don’t ship you back your xbox, they just send you back a refurbished or remanned after they verify you have a warranty concern

    it’s not that bad really

i would ask them to ship you a box, helped me out alot. no possibility of voided warranty because of bad shipping.
