Was that a fan mod?
Mi xbox has the 3 red lights with error 1023 ( which is related to the dvd drive ) however it has 3, i repeat, 3 red lights. Will this fix the error?
So you’re not actually ‘fixing’ a drive, just swapping the pcb.
@GoldenSuperJP no it means it has a bad sata cable (the black one with the yellow tape at 1 end of it)
did not see a link for why you replaced the the board in the new drive.
i have HITACHI …. all u have to do is clean ur lens..and always burn DVD 2.4x speed
this is pro “corporate” fixing right here. Keep this in mind, if you ever send in your consoles to the company (microsoft/sony) this is what they will do, and there are 2 things that will happen.
1. They will take your broken console/part and toss it in a “junk parts” pile, and send you a refurb that will have a different less serious issue.
but, if ur lucky
2. They will send it to a “distro center” and they will do just what he’s doin, find a busted drive with a working part and replace.
@bonkerzmhann i already tried replacing the cable, it stills gives me the 3 red lights. I read somewhere that error 1023 only gives you 2 or just 1 light. I also have another xbox that is doing some really weird shit. It gives me error 0013 but it gives me the 3 red lights instead of the usual 2, and the fan and dvd drive are not working.
how about you people just buy a new x box
