can someone help me, my xbox is modded and had alot of trouble in the past but is fine now, lately i have been getting a unreadable disk error so nothing to loose, i decided to fopen up my xbox and try and resolve the problem. before i even got down to the mother board, i pressed the button and got 3 red lights, but i thinks its a fan based problem because the fan starts up when i turn it on, then immediately stops anf the 3 red lights comes on
i looked up some tutorials and i have already had this problem in the past and had it fixed by the guy who moded my xbox, anyway it has run fine and after i decided to open it totally up everything seemed fine but this time when i turned it on the RROD came on and the fan kept spinning, but for about 5 seconds the fan got louder and louder till it sounded like it was gennu explode, then it stoped and the overheating lights came on. repeating this process and the same thing happens. help plz?
thats bull shit! when i got E74 i rang them up and asked and they said 150 dollers!

yea, depends on how much u like ur xbox, i would prob say get a new one or send it to someone for fix ASAP. I brought mine to a guy who fixed xboxs and he said it was pretty much scrap metel. I would say prob dont try and fix ur xbox if u dont have experience at it. if u already have prob should find someone who has experience with fixing xboxes or something

I just got my XBOX for Christmas, and occasionally the graphics are fuzzy for a few seconds, then go away. Also it sometimes finds it hard to read the disks, and on CoD, it won’t let me play any tracks (it won’t load). It might be the disks. Should I be nervous or need to worry?

if its flashing four that means your av cable or power cable isnt in the xbox all the way if it happens again change out you power cable or av cable
What I did was duck tape all the vents on the xbox then wrapd in a towel until the fan turned off once the fac turns off hit the power button then turn the xbox back on and presto green light

That would be E68 which is your hard drive I took my hard drive and Memory card out and it still wasn’t working (E74),Which is your whole xbox like he said.
Some things you can see to predict this is if you’re playing Call of Duty and it has black lines in sky or black dots or if you go on Red Dead Redemption you’ll see it is just horrible as fuck.
To Avoid The 3 Rings Put Your Xbox On Refriagator Then You Can Play It 24 Hours.
