1. There is only email support. No phone number. Although it is not possible to help every individual with their XBOX 360 problems, having phone support does tell you something about the person behind the guide.

Are they willing to troubleshoot? Email is an easy way to troubleshoot a problem. For one, you can ask someone else to give you the answer, then submit your reply looking like you are the authority on the subject. While this isn't really a big deal if your problem is solved, it is something to consider. I personally really like being able to call the and ask questions should I run into trouble.

2. Time factor. The claim to taking only 30 minutes to fix your XBOX 360 errors is just a sales tactic to try and make something look better than it really is.

I'm not going to be rushing through my XBOX 360 repair just trying to beat the clock. There are too many things that can go wrong. The instructions to fix your XBOX 360 this fast can only be due to two reasons.

a. It's simply not true. It will take you almost an hour to fix your box, maybe as long as two if you're extra careful. But who's actually got a timer set? The goal is to fix it, not make any repair records.

b. There are missing steps and or missing fixes.

Once you read the guide you will understand for yourself what I am talking about. There are several ways to fix these XBOX 360's. Each one will fix some of the problems, some of the solutions will fix it permanently, some will only be temporary.

Some solutions are dangerous to your XBOX 360 and others are ok, but using hair bands, super glue, and pieces of foam are not the answers you're looking for. Not that this guide recommends these things, I'm just making a point to help you understand that some of these solutions may not be a good idea.
